Description/Responsibilities: The Westfield Washington Public Library serves a rapidly growing and vibrant community. We are looking for an energetic and creative individual to develop goals, procedures, and training for our Makerspace and Digital Lab in our new state of the Art Library and to manage the library’s information technology services, by collaborating library-wide to identify and apply appropriate Technology uses, overseeing the design and implementation of computer systems and websites, managing telecommunications and Internet connectivity.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in science, education, instructional technology, educational technology, computer science, and/or a related degree
2. Experience with 3D modeling, rendering, printing, audio-visual equipment and software, laser cutters, and other creative technology tools.
3. Experience with instructional Design and delivery, specifically in areas of physics, computer science, engineering, robotics and/or electronics.
Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
40 hours per week.
Salary Range: $20.00-29.50/hour based on experience/qualifications.
