We’re excited to announce an opening for our next Librarian! In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting branch activities, help plan and coordinate programs and outreach efforts, and assist with reader’s advisory and reference inquiries. The successful candidate for this position would have a passion for working with people of all ages.

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position. The proposed schedule is listed below; however, additional evenings and weekends may be needed for community events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; AND two (2) years of library operations experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Candidate must have completed nine credit hours of specific library science courses or commit to completing them within three years of start date in this position. Completion of this coursework will allow the person obtaining this position to achieve the required Librarian Certification Level 5 within three years of start date in this position. After requirements are met, must earn 50 LEU (Library Education Units) within five years.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay is $20.11 per hour and up based on experience
