Position Details
Title: Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Strategy and Analytics
Location: Communications and Marketing Department at the Library Service Center
Hours: Full -time, 40 per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, but will include night and weekend hours as needed
Starting Annual Salary: $66,993
FLSA Status: Exempt

A successful candidate will have…
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field
- Eight or more years of experience in digital marketing, communications, or brand management, with demonstrated success in leading creative teams.
- Proven expertise in managing integrated campaigns across digital, social, and traditional platforms
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, social media dashboards, and media monitoring platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in high-impact brand messaging.
- Reliable transportation or valid Driver’s License to travel to multiple locations as needed.
- Experience in selecting platform upgrades and/or platform migrations is a plus.
- Knowledge of public sector or nonprofit communications is a plus.
What does the job look like?
- Manage a team of marketing professionals.
- Implement integrated digital and brand marketing strategies aligned with IndyPL’s strategic plan.
- Lead cross-platform branding efforts, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and visual identity across all digital and traditional channels.
- Serve as a member of the crisis communication/emergency preparedness team.
- Oversee the planning, integrating, execution, and optimization of IndyPL’s digital channels, including web, social media, and email marketing.
- Partner with internal teams to produce innovative, user-centric content and campaigns that drive measurable engagement within strategic plan objectives.
- Ensure adherence to accessibility, regulatory, and ADA compliance in all digital touchpoints.
- Lead strategic oversight of the Library’s digital platforms with a focus on user experience, performance, and SEO optimization.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to implement digital improvements based on audience behavior and analytics.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to maintain an up-to-date, accessible, relevant, and a high-performing digital presence.
- Build a robust analytics framework to evaluate marketing effectiveness, user engagement, and campaign ROI.
- Use reporting tools, focus groups, formal feedback, and A/B testing and iterative improvements to improve message and marketing effectiveness.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer to inform strategic decisions.
- Foster productive relationships across departments, ensuring alignment of messaging, initiatives, and outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality in administrative matters.
