Job Description/Responsibilities: Are you a great fit for the Anderson Public Library’s Teen Services Programming Assistant? The Teen Services Department is seeking a Programming Assistant to collaborate with the Teen Services Coordinator to implement a variety of programs and events both within the library and throughout our diverse community! If you enjoy being innovative, as well as providing excellent customer service, this may be a great fit! In this role, you will utilize your customer service skills as you provide reference services and readers advisory at the service desk. You’ll also assist patrons with use of the library catalog, computers, and other technology equipment! Your creativity will shine as you create teen-focused programs & outreach along with designing relevant, eye-catching displays! Qualifications: Customer service and programming experience; Skilled in public speaking; Knowledge of library operations and best practices for working with teens; ability to obtain a LC6 certification.
Salary: $18.67 – $21.00 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week, including some night and weekends
