The Andrews-Dallas Township Public Library Board of Trustees is seeking a director. The Andrews Library, a member of the Evergreen Indiana library consortium and a Class C Indiana public library, is located in Andrews and serves the approximately 2,200 residents of Dallas Township. The Library has an annual budget of $131,000, and its part-time staff includes a library assistant, a treasurer, and a custodian. The director is the only full-time position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Provide leadership and vision for library services and programming
-Oversee and conduct daily operations of the library, including programming, budgeting, collection development, and staff management
-Manage financial resources effectively and seek funding opportunities
-Promote library programs and services through community outreach, social media, and public relations
-Report to and work with a supportive seven member Board of Trustees and collaborate with an active Friends of the Library organization

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Strong interpersonal skills and creativity
-Self-motivated and comfortable working independently at a variety of tasks
-Ability to use and/or learn software and technology
-Public library experience and Indiana Library Certificate 4 is preferred; candidates with experience or a degree in a related field are welcome to apply

Starting salary is $33,280 for a 32 hour work week with paid time off earned through the first year. The Library is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 am-5 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-7 pm and Saturdays from 9 am-1 pm.
