We are looking for the next Assistant Library Branch Manager for our Hessen Cassel Branch! The Assistant Manager contributes to the overall quality of the branch’s service by developing and coordinating work teams, responding to patron inquiries, and assisting with the development, implementation and administration of plans for collection layout.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required but Master’s of Library Sciences (MLS) preferred AND two (2) years of professional librarian experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- State of Indiana Public Librarian Certification (LC4)
- Preferred: fluency in Spanish, Burmese, or other local languages
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation for this position falls under our M1 pay grade. The minimum is $52k per year; mid-range is $67k per year; maximum is $83k per year. Offers are based on previous related and comparable experience.
