Danville-Center Twp Public Library is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, innovative and creative individual who would like to join our team as our new Teen Librarian as we work to engage the young adult community through positive interaction and dynamic programming.  This person will have a passion for working with teens ages 12 – 18 years old.

The requirements for this position are:

·         Bachelor’s Degree;

·         A minimum of 2 years of experience working with teens, within libraries preferred

Principal Responsibilities:

This position provides service to the teen population including developing programming, managing the Young Adult collection and outreach to the area schools.

This person will also have skills in organizing, prioritizing, and providing multiple kinds of services as well as interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact and deal tactfully with the public and library employees.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours/week with some evening and weekend hours required.

Wage Range:  $16 – 18/hour depending on experience
