The Jasper County Public Library in NW Indiana is currently hiring a manager for the Wheatfield branch.

Essential functions include but are not limited to hiring, evaluating, supervising, training, and scheduling staff; selection, inventory, and weeding of the adult print and nonprint collections; overseeing adult and family programming; coordinating building maintenance with the director and business office.

A Master’s degree in Library Science (or Information Science, with appropriate library science course work) from an ALA-accredited college or university, Indiana Librarian Certificate 3 (LC3), and one year of supervisory experience are required.

This is a full time (4o hours/week) position with a starting salary of $21.25/hour.
