The Westfield Washington Public Library serves a rapidly growing and vibrant community and we’re looking for a detail-oriented, dedicated Copy Cataloger to join our team!

As a vital part of our Technical Services Department, you’ll help ensure library materials are discoverable and accessible to our community by creating and maintaining accurate bibliographic and item records as well as physically processing materials for placement on the shelves. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment where your skills support lifelong learning and community engagement. This position is full time — Monday through Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour

Qualifications:

1.  Requires High school diploma and minimum of two years college coursework or five years of library experience.
2. Knowledge of Evergreen Indiana system is a plus.
3. Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact and deal tactfully with the public and other library employees.
4. Above average computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software in a Windows environment are required.
5. Ability to accurately read numbers and letters both in print and on screen
6. Ability to speak and hear the spoken word
7. Hand/eye coordination to operate computers and office equipment
