Indiana will experience two eclipses in the coming year: A partial solar eclipse on October 14, 2023, and a total eclipse on April 8, 2024. Below are some resources to help your library plan activities around those events.
- SEAL: Solar Eclipse Activities for Libraries – Run by the Space Science Institute, with funding by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, SEAL offers a variety of resources.
- STARnet SEAL Eclipse Kits – The SEAL program has provided the Indiana State Library with two copies each of two different kits to support programming about the October 2023 and April 2024 solar eclipses. Learn more about the kits and reserve one via this webpage.
