Webinar Proposal
Do you have a great idea, concept, program, or subject that you could cover in a webinar so that library staff across the state can benefit from your expertise? Did you solve a problem at your library, in a particularly creative way? We are looking for webinar presenters. Simply fill out this form and the Indiana State Library’s Professional Development Office will consider your webinar proposal and get back with you within 30 days. Your webinar may be scheduled any time after that from six weeks out to a year.
Webinars can be given remotely, as long as you have a strong internet connection and a good microphone at your location. Webinars are typically 30-45 minutes in length with a question and answer session at the end and are worth 1 LEU. A staff member from the Indiana State Library will be with you during your webinar, in addition to a technical producer. You will not have to worry about technical difficulties.
Don’t forget! The new LEU requirements allow LEUs to be earned for presentations created and presented, so if you are a certified library staff member, you could earn an LEU while giving others the opportunity to benefit as well. Email statewideservices@library.in.gov to get your questions answered.
One person should be named as the main point of contact for this webinar.
